All Blue: Circle skirts in the Fall

Circle Skirts in Fall

Do you have an item in your wardrobe that you can put on and feel immediately put together? For me, it’s a poofy circle skirt. I don’t own too many of them but they are my go-to instant ‘feel good’ item when everything else in my wardrobe just isn’t doing it for me! Circle skirts are also appropriate for all seasons‎. I wore this one in the summer with a tank top (see my instagram photo here); now that it’s fall I have paired it with a light sweater and come winter this will look great with a chunkier sweater and opaque navy tights. Don’t think that you have to treat this style of skirt as a super girly item either (although that is super fun too!). I love wearing my black circle skirt with a leather bomber jacket and my Frye engineer boots. Versatility is key when buying great items that you can wear all year for many years!

I think circle skirts are so much fun, and you’re right, you can definitely pair it with chunkier knits and tights for an edgy look. Love the color of your skirt and flats.

PS. I’d love to link to your pumpkin spice milkshakes post in my blog post tomorrow where I will be sharing my favorite pumpkin recipes that I’ve come across. Would that be okay?

I also like this style of skirt very much! The skirt you are wearing is really pretty and looks perfect with that light sweater. It’s the first time I visit your blog and checked your previous post, too. I would love to have that pumpkin spice milkshake. I’ll try to get all the ingredients soon to prepare it. Have a great weekend!
