Pineapple Ginger Punch is a delicious winter non alcoholic punch. It is served warm and has spicy notes – perfect for a winter get together!
This recipe is one of my absolute favourites and it is actually the drink that really got me into making drinks and sharing them on here! I found this recipe way back when in a Reader’s Digest magazine and have now been making it for years. I definitely don’t follow a recipe anymore, and I just know that as long as I have pineapple juice, ginger and cinnamon I can make something delicious (but believe me, the other ingredients really make this recipe sing!).
Do you want to know my actual favourite thing about this non alcoholic punch recipe though? It was the FIRST recipe I ever shared here on Threads & Blooms. FOUR YEARS AGO. I can’t even believe I’ve had this little chunk of the internet for that long. Oh such simple times it was four years ago – back when it was my goal to post on Instagram once a week and my only blog readers shared the same last name as me. I truly had no clue what I was doing but I was thoroughly enjoying it. Also, stick around here to make this recipe (because I know you’ll love it) but please take a moment to visit that old post because you know what else I had no clue about? Photography! I could delete that original post, especially since I have an improved version of it here now, but it serves as a nice reminder for me of what I have learned over the past 4 years. While I am not a photographer by any means, it’s always important to remember that nobody knows how to do anything at first – we all start at the same place and practice really does make perfect (or pretty darn good, anyway).
Here’s a little teaser from the original post. I actually bought this cutting board and honey dipper for this post and here I am using both items still. These were the first pieces of inventory that I ever bought for styling posts!
OK, enough of this laughing at the past. I love this recipe and I really do think it is the perfect non alcoholic punch to enjoy this winter!
Here it is, Friends! This is a wonderful winter drink. It is hot (temperature) and spicy (taste) and truly so heart warming. I haven’t tried another drink quite like it. I have served this at many get togethers over the years and I am constantly filling up a new batch throughout the night. I suggest making this in a big pot or crock pot!
A delicious warm punch. A pineapple base with cinnamon, cloves, plenty of ginger and more. My actual favourite drink!
Combine all the ingredients in a pot or crock pot and warm over low heat until it is hot, but never boiling. This recipe can be easily scaled up or down. Serve hot and enjoy! TIP: If I'm serving at a party I like to garnish with a cinnamon stick for all the festive feels.
