Simple Peach Crumble & Ice Cream

Filed in: Recipes

Simple Peach Crumble Recipe

Peach season is here, so it only makes sense for me to share a peach dessert! I like to post recipes that are simple and delicious (and usually healthy…but not AS much today!) but I am by no means a chef in the making! So what makes this different than any other peach crumble, you may ask? Well…nothing I guess. But when served in tiny mason jars it is the perfect sized dessert that nobody can resist and, when topped with ice cream, drizzled with honey and garnished with mint, you are sure to look like a pro to all of your guests!

Simple Peach Crumble Recipe

Ingredients for 6 cups:

Peach Filling
-6 fresh peaches sliced
-2 tablespoons honey
-1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
-1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
-2 tablespoons butter
Combine all ingredients in a bowl

Crumble Topping
-1 cup oats
-1/4 cup flour
-1 teaspoon vanilla extract
-1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
-2 tablespoons butter melted
-2 tablespoons brown sugar
Combine all ingredients in a bowl

Directions

In a baking dish spread out all of your peach filling evenly and coat with the crumble topping. Bake in the oven for approximately 25 minutes or until the crumble on top has browned.

Allow the crumble to cool to your preference, this can be served cold or warm (I served mine warm…hence why the ice cream is melting in the photos!). When ready to serve, scoop even portions into small mason jars and top with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Drizzle honey on the top and garnish with a sprig of mint!

This looks absolutely amazing! I actually have a basket full of peaches in my kitchen… I’ve been considering freezing them for smoothies, but I think I’ll make this instead! Thank you for sharing!
