Tropical White Wine Sangria Recipe

Tropical Sangria

Mmmmmm…Summer seems to officially be here and that means it’s sangria season and here is the perfect recipe for your weekend ahead! I wanted to come up with a white wine sangria recipe that was different from your typical sangria. I decided to go for a tropical white wine sangria since I love pineapple, coconut, mango and all of those delicious tropical flavours.

6-8 glasses

1 bottle of white wine (I used a Sauvignon Blanc)
1/2 cup of Malibu Rum (coconut flavoured)
1 cup of Mango Orange Juice
1 cup of Gingerale
2 kiwis peeled and cubed
1/2 a pineapple peeled and cubed
1 mango peeled and cubed

Combine all the ingredients in a large pitcher and allow to combine and soak for 6 or more hours for all the fruity flavours to come to life. Serve chilled!

Try a white grape cider (Growers: six bottles for $11.80) instead of or in addition to the white wine. It adds a tang and a freshness that wine can’t.
