Cadbury Mini Egg Ice Cream – Homemade & No Churn!

Filed in: Recipes

Our original homemade ice cream recipe pairs so perfectly with Cadbury Mini Eggs to make a delicious Easter dessert!

Homemade Ice Cream with Cadbury Mini eggs for Easter! This recipe is no churn and needs only 4 ingredients! So simple.

Homemade Ice Cream – No Churn

Last summer I made homemade ice cream for the first time. At the time, I had seriously low hopes when trying it out for the first time. No churn ice cream seemed waaay too simple to possibly turn out well. It used barely any ingredients and didn’t require an ice cream maker. I mean, if an ice cream maker wasn’t totally necessary for making ice cream, why wasn’t everyone making homemade ice cream?! Well, after making homemade ice cream for the first time my only answer to that question is ‘I don’t know!’. Friends, homemade ice cream is SO GOOD.  Since making that first batch in the summer, my ice cream has become such a hit at family get togethers that I make it all the time.

Cadbury Mini Eggs in a Homemade Ice Cream? Why Not!

With Easter next week I was planning to make some homemade ice cream to go along with pies for our family get together. The homemade vanilla recipe is literally perfect every time but with Easter I kind of wanted to make something with Cadbury mini eggs. Honestly, I’ve always been a creme egg girl, but I knowwww that Cadbury mini eggs win most popularity contests. So, here it is – Cadbury Mini Egg Ice Cream.

How to Make No Churn Ice Cream

The recipe is just the same recipe that I posted for my original vanilla homemade ice cream. This recipe provides a great base for you to enhance with any added items – just like I did here with the mini eggs. Read below for recipes and directions to make your own Cadbury mini eggs homemade ice cream!

Ingredients for Mini Egg Ice Cream:

  • 2 cups of heavy cream
  • 400ml condenses milk
  • 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups Cadbury mini eggs
  1. First, chop up your mini eggs and set aside.
  2. Using a hand or standing mixer, whip the heavy cream until it forms soft peaks. This took about 4 minutes on high with a hand mixer.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the condensed milk and vanilla
  4. Add the whipped cream mixture into the condensed milk mixture and fold the two together until fully combined.
  5. Add in the Cadbury mini eggs and gently fold the mixture further.
  6. In a parchment lined loaf pan (I used an 8×4 metal loaf pan) pour the ice cream mixture. Cover the pan tightly with saran wrap
  7. Place in the freezer for 6 hours or until frozen
  8. Enjoy!!!
