Home & Garden
Guys, can you believe it?! It’s official. Winter is here. It feels like the first time in years that we have truly had snow before Christmas. It was the first snowy day last week, and, although I wasn’t quite ready to go out in the cold, we bundled up and headed to Evergreen Brickworks. Evergreen Brickworks is one of mine and Dan’s favourite places to visit and it is especially magical and sweet around Christmas time. It has the feel of a country market which you can’t always find in the city! They have Christmas trees, wreaths, evergreen boughs and more to help decorate your house and put you in the festive spirit.
Braving snowy days is something we have to learn to do, having such long winters. I used to hate winter but since investing in clothing to keep me warm outside everything is looking up! I bought this coat by The Wild North last year. My mom and sister-in-law have since bought the same one, heh! It was the first really warm coat I had ever bought and it makes me enjoy winter so much more. I have since added a couple more great parka style coats to my wardrobe (will be sharing my newest here in a week or so!). Now, I am happy to say that I can be warm and stylish at the same time. Something that I didn’t really think was possible for the first 25 years of my life!
In addition to keeping my body toasty, I also hate having cold feet (but duh, who doesn’t!), so these Cougar boots are a winter must.
