Playing with Beautiful Fall Flowers

Here are a few snaps from the flowers I did last weekend for a local wedding. It was a lovely day outside so I set up shop on the porch to get creative. Fall flowers are some of my favourite. Fall feels like the time of year when you can really embrace bright and bold colours. I love to forage changing leaves from outside and sprinkle in some ornamental grasses. These arrangements used hydrangea, russian sage, mums, dahlia, and protea. Fall has so much more than just this to offer though – read below for a long list of all my favourite fall flowers!

Fall Weddings – What Fall Flowers to Use?

Everything that we used in these arrangements were locally grown with the exception of the protea. They were too perfect to pass up! The hydrangea and the Russian sage were even picked right from my garden which is something I hope to do more and more each year.

There are so many beautiful fall flowers. Below are some of my favourites for you to research if you are having a fall wedding:

• lisianthus
• ornamental grasses
• hydrangea – pee gee are especially beautiful as they fade to pink at this time of year!
