Lilac Arrangements

Freshly cut lilacs
Even just the lilacs sitting in the pail waiting to be used were too pretty!

Ooooh how I love lilac arrangements!

A few weeks ago the lilacs were out in all their glory and luckily I had some arrangements to make for a couple different events to take advantage of these beautiful flowers during their short season. Lilacs are one of my favourite flowers and it was such a beautiful week out that I took advantage of the weather and worked out on the porch. Here are a few snaps of the lilac arrangements I made.

It also happened to be prime apple blossom season, so I used those where I could!

The ‘pièce de résistance’! This lilac arrangement was over 3′ long featuring local lilacs and apple blossoms as well as garden roses and ranunculus.
