Late Summer Wedding Flowers

Pedestal Vase Arrangement

Pedestal Vase Arrangement Toronto Florist

This weekend was busy busy with lots of floral arranging. Adriana and I worked on another beautiful wedding and these are the photos I am sharing here. The colour scheme was white, soft yellow, and deep purple – a perfect combination. We had the most lovely bride and putting these pieces together was such a pleasure.

On the list of pieces to make were the table centre pieces (one being for the head table slightly different from the others), bridal bouquet and bridal party party bouquets, and boutonnieres and corsages for the family members.

We kept a similar flower mix between all the pieces for consistency. Roses, garden roses, dahlias, lisianthus, and astrantia (my new favourite flower!!) were the main flowers, while Italian ruscus and seeded eucalyptus were the main greens. I love the seeds of the seeded eucalyptus and how they give an arrangement such a loose feel. The astrantia perfectly added the deep purple touch without over-taking and the whimsical nature of the flower was just what these arrangements called for.

On the tables we went for a pedestal vase arrangement pictured above and just below. I love this style because it is loose and lush. The vase is also beautiful and adds an extra bit of interest. The overall look is classy and sophisticated.
