Ricotta + Jam Toast

A simple brunch option! Ricotta + Jam Toast balances savoury and sweet and can be customized to suit many flavour palettes!

Toast (per serving)
  • 1 slice sourdough bread
  • 2 tbsp E.D.SMITH Triple Fruits Spread - whichever flavour!
  • 1/4 cup Sliced Fruit
  • 1 tsp Fresh herbs
  • 2 tbsp savoury ingredient - granola, pistachios, or coconut flakes
  • 1 drizzle honey - optional if you like sweet!
Whipped Ricotta (for 8 toasts)
  • 300 g 1 container of Ricotta
  • 1/3 cup heavy cream
  • 1 pinch sea salt
Whip the Ricotta
  1. Combine the container of ricotta with the heavy cream and a pinch of salt. Using a whisk combine until the mixture is creamy. 

To Prepare the Toasts
  1. Slice your bread and toast if that is your preference.

  2. Add approximately 3 tbsp of the whipped ricotta as a base on your toast.

  3. Add 2-3 tbsp of your E.D.SMITH Triple Fruits spread on top of your ricotta

  4. Garnish your ricotta and jam with fruit, granola, coconut, flakes, fresh herbs etc....whatever suits your tastebuds! I have included 3 of my favourite flavour combinations below. Have fun trying new ingredients together!
