A few weeks ago I had the honour of attending the most lovely and intimate wedding of two good friends…and I got to do the flowers!

Doing these flowers was different than any other wedding I have done before. Since this was in a different town for me (it was in Boston!) I couldn’t place my flower order a few weeks in advance as I usually do. We decided that we would buy the flowers the day of the wedding at the local supermarket. The bride and groom sent me photos of the supermarket flower selection ahead of time and I was confident that there would be plenty in stock for us to choose from but the style and colour scheme would have be selected the day of when we saw the current flower selection. I wish I had photos of us in the store – it was a beautiful flower frenzy of designing on the spot! Everything turned out perfectly and I was so happy to be a part of this special day.
